Guests can arrive at the park anytime during the day. Simply present a valid Sea World admission, Village Roadshow One Pass or Membership along with your Carnivale admission to receive a wristband which will allow you to explore the park throughout the day and watch the park come to life by night. Carnivale runs from 5:30pm-8:30pm. Guests visiting for the night, must have a valid Carnivale admission for that night for entry from 5.00pm.

Carnivale continues to run even in wet weather. Please note that during lightning and severe thunderstorms Sea World may temporarily suspend rides, attractions and presentations until they are safe to operate.

Village Roadshow One Pass holders or Members can redeem their 1 x free entry to Carnivale  HERE. Tickets must be pre-booked online.

You are welcome to wear costumes and light facial makeup. No dangerous items or weapons may be brought into Sea World. Note: Some costume pieces may need to be removed due to ride restrictions. Balloons are not permitted at Sea World due to animal welfare.

Food, beverage, eskies and coolers may not be brought into the park. Guests with special dietary requirements are exempt from this policy. No alcohol may be brought into Sea World

Some locations make use of visual and audio effects, including strobe lights and may not be suitable for guests with a history of vertigo, epilepsy, seizures, claustrophobia, heart disorders and high blood pressure.

We are always evolving our shows and events and for this year’s Spooky Nights/Carnivale our focus is on the entertainment offerings on the lake including water jets, fountains and lights along with our performers and characters on the stage.

No foldable chairs, trolleys, carts or wagons are permitted during the event.

We recommend purchasing tickets for Carnivale in advance, as nights sell out fast. Tickets are date specific.

We suggest arriving early to ensure you can start your adventure at 5:30pm. Alternative parking can be found on Seaworld Drive but please ensure you only park in designated council parking locations. At the end of the night there may be some short delays exiting, however, our team will be there to assist clearing the carpark as quickly and as safely as possible. Alternatively, why not grab some ice-cream before heading out while it clears.
